Introducing the Waterlution Toronto Hub!

The Waterlution Toronto Hub works to develop and nurture inspired communities of water action by hosting year-round capacity-building opportunities.

Regular gatherings bring together water experts, stakeholders and the interested public to explore pertinent issues and creative solutions to regional water management questions. These innovative social events aim to inspire guests, while weaving knowledge on a relevant topic, provoking dialogue and facilitating action items. Each event is focused on a specific theme, stimulated by featured “provocateurs” – leading mentors with insight to share.

Next event: Monday Feb 6, 2012. "Climate change... can we change?"

Please contact dona@waterlution.org for more information.

The Waterlution Toronto Hub was made possible thanks to the support of the Trillium Foundation and the RBC Blue Water Project.

 What sets Waterlution apart?

Waterlution is founded on the experience that it is only with the combination of content and process - two key drivers of systemic change - that meaningful dialogue and action can occur. One without the other will lead to marginal results.

What do we mean by "content and process"? There exists excellent water science, policy, and knowledge ("content") across Canada and globally - much of that experience can be lost or not acted upon if not well communicated ("process"). At Waterlution, we utilize a variety of facilitation techniques that enable the effective transfer of knowledge and perspectives between individuals and organizations. Processes employed in our programs include team dynamics, the breakdown of complex topics, the encouragement of play and the exploration of scenario planning.
